I had so much fun putting together my son’s birthday party. It was time for celebration. My daughter passed away in May, and I felt like his first birthday was the perfect time to eat cake and laugh and smile.
Theodore Brave is our miracle boy. We are so grateful for him
I love Rifle Paper Co., and their honeybee calendar. The whole party was inspired by it.
The Whisk made the most gorgeous sugar cookies, made with love and lots of attention to detail. Julie is so kind and fun to work with. We narrowed down some designs and she made them come to life. And they are delicious!
I bought the vintage Honeybee print from Spruce Collective, in Abbotsford B.C.
The honeycomb milk jars and cake pedestal are from Home Sense, believe it or not! What a find.
I ordered the gorgeous Copper Rose Gold 1 balloon from The Paper Kit on Etsy.
I wanted to keep it simple, so we served Chicago mix popcorn and little sweets and treats. I also picked up some local honey sticks, because they remind me of my childhood! I’m a honey fiend.
My mama made the sugarless cake from applesauce and bananas with a whipped cream “frosting”. Teddy and all the babies loved it!
Happy birthday to our sweet boy, Teddy Brave. We are grateful for your life.
